I'm Rachel, a Registered Dietitian (RD) and Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) with over 15 years experience. Though I love working with athletes of all types, my specialties include: Triathlon (including Ironman), as well as each individual sport of swim, bike, and run.
As an athlete, you have special energy and nutrient needs above and beyond those of a typical diet. Nutrition plays an integral role in endurnace, performance, and recovery. Without appropriate fueling, you may never reach your true potential.
I work with athletes of all skill levels and ages, from beginner runners to pro triathletes. As an athlete myself, I understand the importance of translating the latest scientific evidence into practical sports nutrition recommendations, and then fitting them into your specific athletic goals.
When it comes to nutrition, I believe it's not a one-size-fits-all. We each have a unique set of preferences, desires, and goals that can only be achieved through a personal approach. When you work with me, your needs and goals always come first. After all, this is your journey! I am here to listen, encourage, motivate, provide nutrition insights, and guide you through the challenges and adventures ahead.
Your coaching sessions will be non-judgemental and you’ll get all the tools necessary to successfully meet your health and sports goals. Your goals are my goals, and I’ll help you achieve them. I’m excited to take this journey with you!

Training Block was created with a mission to support and empower runners, in order to elevate our sport. We do so by giving runners access to a network of local sport performance providers, who provide runners with the care they need from coaching, physical therapy, massage, strength training, and more. We also give providers an easy way to connect with each other and share articles, videos, and other resources that benefit runners and providers alike. For every service booked through Training Block, we donate 10% of our revenues to Training Block’s Elite Athlete Fund, which sponsors elite runners who do not have professional contracts and need financial support for racing at their highest level.
