Hi! I’m Kelsey! I am an RRCA Certified Run Coach and USA Triathlon Level 1 Certified Coach! I’ve been hooked on endurance sports since I ran my first half marathon in April 2008. Since then, I’ve gone on to complete more than a dozen shorter races (5k-10miles), 4 half marathons, 16 marathons (PR: 3:13:58), the Ragnar Relay from Madison to Chicago, 4 Half Ironmans (including the 2021 IM 70.3 World Championship), and 3 full Ironman races (Wisconsin, Tulsa, Arizona) and even qualified for the 2023 Ironman World Championships in Kona.
Running and triathlon are truly a lifestyle for me—I study them in books & podcasts; I follow other athletes on social media; I LOVE racing (especially when I get to toe the line with my speedy hubby); I love encouraging my two daughters to swim/bike/run. I constantly crave to achieve new challenges—faster times, new courses, new workouts, new distances. I just achieved my lifetime goal of qualifying for the Ironman World Championships in Kona. My future goals are breaking 20 minutes in the 5k and going under 6 hours on the bike during an Ironman race.

Training Block was created with a mission to support and empower runners, in order to elevate our sport. We do so by giving runners access to a network of local sport performance providers, who provide runners with the care they need from coaching, physical therapy, massage, strength training, and more. We also give providers an easy way to connect with each other and share articles, videos, and other resources that benefit runners and providers alike. For every service booked through Training Block, we donate 10% of our revenues to Training Block’s Elite Athlete Fund, which sponsors elite runners who do not have professional contracts and need financial support for racing at their highest level.
